How To Join Soulpuppetry

1. Read the about page, the PSA, and the rules page.

2. No. I mean REALLY read them. Go on. They're not that long.

3. If, after reading all that, you still like us and want to join us, wow, cool. Please make sure that you do, in fact, fit all the criteria. Then go to the RingSurf Join Page and fill out the form. You will be added to the queue.

4. RingSurf will inform you that you need to install an HTML snippet on your page. If you want to use the text snippet, just copy the snippet that RingSurf gives you and paste that into your page's HTML. 

4a. If, however, you want to use the graphics snippet, check your email. You should have an email message confirming that you've been added to the queue. Read the email, and find your site ID number. Then go to the HTML page and get a copy of the graphics HTML snippet.
4b. Everywhere that the snippet says id=0, you need to substitute your own ID number. For example, if your ring ID number is 6, you need to substitute id=6 for id=0. You should have to do this four times. If you use the text snippet, and you need to get a new copy of it from the HTML page for whatever reason, you'll have to do this as well.
4c. Now make a joke about Id from Xenogears. Just to please the ringmistress.

7. Once the snippet is installed (and not before, please) email the ringmistress. Feel free to lambast her over her sad lack of HTML skills, or send her money. Then tell her that you've installed the HTML snippet, and to get off her fat ass and check.

7. The ringmistress will visit your site to confirm that it does, in fact, fit the criteria and have the doodad on it somewhere. If there's a problem, she'll get in touch with you. If you did something really stupid, she'll laugh at you.

8. Otherwise, you should be added to the ring shortly. After that, you can use your password to log into RingSurf and edit your own information all you want.
